Vancouver, Washington

Located in an urban setting, Anthem Park at Uptown Village is a full city block mixed-use development that includes an apartment building, 22 for-sale townhome units, and street-level retail space with a one-half acre open landscaped Courtyard at its center. City and neighborhood organizations worked together with LRS and Real Estate Development Inc. to develop a design that would bring owners, tenants, and neighbors together in a community atmosphere.

The 38,680 SF underground parking garage is gated and features 68 assigned spaces plus entrances to the townhome garages. Above the garage, the spacious one-half acre Anthem Park community courtyard/park creates the focal point for this housing and retail development. Senior residents of the existing Columbia House Assisted Living, located across the street, will have safe and easy access to the courtyard via a second story, open-air bridge.

The 58 apartment units are offered in one and two-bedroom floorplans and are considered medium-income units, affordable to households earning 60% of the area median income. Building amenities include an exercise room, a 960 SF community room and an on-site laundry facility. The 22 for-sale townhouse units are offered in 1,192 to 1,318 SF floorplans. Seventeen of these units include a two-car private garage. The retail component includes two corner anchor spaces (leased by Starbucks and Subway) and seven live-work units, which can be converted to an office, studio or small shop.

Anthem Park won a 2004 Award of Excellence for Project Innovation and Design, National Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) and a 2003 Best of NW Construction Award.
