Resort at The Mountain Spa

The resort is located in the city of Welches, Clackamas County, Oregon, approximately 50 miles east of Portland and 10 miles west of Mt. Hood. It is in a relatively flat section of the Salmon Creek drainage valley and consists of approximately 250 acres of golf courses, wooded vacant land and buildings consistent with a resort. Surrounding and interspersed with the resort are individual residential homes and condominium buildings.

LRS has been involved with the renovation of the resort since its purchase by the Costal Hotel Group in the spring of 2008. Renovation and addition projects include

The interior of the conference center in conjunction with the interior design firm MNID associates. The conference rooms, bathrooms, bar, restaurant and lobby were redesigned and improved.

The re-design of the exterior. Circulation was improved and the exterior skin was updated.

Renovation of the rooms. There are 10 buildings with 15 rooms in each building. Each room was completely stripped and all new fixtures and finishes installed.

The design and creation of a new spa by adding on to and completely renovating an existing fitness center. The resulting spa has seven treatment rooms, two steam saunas, fitness room, lounge area, associate locker rooms and office space.
