Pearl Place Mixed-Use Renovation

This full block renovation and adaptive re-use project is located in Portland’s dynamic Pearl District. Pearl Place is composed of four buildings – two large former warehouse buildings built with bow string trusses that are connected by two office/storage buildings. The exterior elevations are concrete block and tilt-up panels.

The buildings have undergone a complete renovation that includes waterproofing, new paint colors and design schemes, and replacement windows to match the original industrial metal sash type. The color scheme and design was developed through the use of computer graphics for ease of evaluation and changes made by the owner. Pearl Place is now home to retailers including Sherman Clay Pianos and Storables and the offices of the Oregon Anesthesiologists Group.
