The new 38,600 SF City Hall is located in the heart of downtown Albany on a full block site. The facility consolidated multiple departments and agencies under one roof, enhancing departmental communications.

Extensive programming and analysis of staff space needs, adjacency matrices, departmental blocking and stacking diagrams were used in the planning process. Design team involvement with the community and related public agencies contributed to the overall goal of revitalizing the City’s urban core.
