Beaverton, Oregon

The Round office, housing and retail complex is conveniently located on Beaverton’s light rail line and developed by the Dorn-Platz Company. LRS designed an eight-story retail/parking structure and a 45,000 SF three-story Building “E” for retail and commercial office space. The seven stories of parking accommodate 400 vehicles and 54 bicycles with 14,300 SF of ground-level retail space. The structures are designed to blend seamlessly with the existing office and multi-family housing buildings currently within the complex. Beaverton’s Sister Cities Garden will be constructed near the northern side of the building. The modern appearance of “Building E” is to be distinguished by ample glazing and exposed concrete structure. Metal panels, sunshades and glazed canopies will highlight the exterior. Building “E” is designed for LEED certification.

Building “F” will be a five-story building totaling 98,000 SF with retail on the ground level and four stories of office above. The building will have a strong stone base with the floors above defined by varying colored metal panel surfaces. The main entry will feature a projecting bay with suspended canopies to welcome pedestrians.
