If viewed from a distance above, this organic layout for the Shanghai Gaoqiao Villas Conceptual Master Plan reflects a full blossoming flower looking up to the sunlight. The lake becomes the flowerā??s center, the open space and lush landscaping radiates from its core. The majority of the residences orient their living quarters to make best use of solar gain. Each of the four residential quadrants has two auto access points at the development perimeter, with many additional pedestrian access points and a system of pedestrian-only paths. This concept plan included 72 units in villas, 121 townhouses and a clubhouse serving the development.
