LRS Architects has always supported both individual and firm-wide participation of our time and talent for worthy causes and charitable fundraising. The LRS Charitable Task Force Committee of interested staff members reviews, recommends and helps organize the firm's charitable contributions and activities.

LRS staff have participated in a number of Sand in the City competitions that benefit Kids on the Block. For several days each July Pioneer Square is taken over by designers and builders working on unique sand sculptures.
Canstruction to benefit the Oregon Food Bank is another fundraiser to which LRS staff regularly contribute their time and effort. Large sculptures made entirely out of non-perishable food items are on display to raise both money and awareness. All food used is donated to the Food Bank.
LRS regularly contributes materials to the SCRAP (School and Community Reuse Action Project) program which supports education projects with free and low-cost materials, and participated in the "Iron Artist" competition.
LRS has also provided pro bono design services for Raphael House, helping to provide shelter for women and children in the community.
