Oregon City acquired a building in the historic McLoughlin neighborhood in downtown Oregon City and decided to relocate City Hall functions to the new site, including the Commission Chambers. The 14,500 sf building was renovated to provide office space for City Administrators, Finance, Parks and Recreation, and Public Works departments. The floor plan was determined by both short-term and long-term needs, and provides ample room for City departments to grow in the future.  

The Commission Chambers was designed to function as a fully integrated public meeting space, as well as being flexible enough for typical conferencing situations. State of the art technology enables electronic voting and interfacing with various types of software.

The project is LEED Silver certified.
