BARLOW

Portland, Oregon

  • 1,700 SF expansion to a restaurant in the historic Park Tower building
  • Designed with the theatric theme of a vintage artisanal bar, reminiscent of the 1920s speakeasy and flapper era
  • Design celebrates the history and vibe of the Broadway District of Portland, with its close proximity to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, Portland’s Center for the Arts, and several theaters
  • Incorporates a demonstration kitchen and mixology station
  • Given the highly visible corner location and floor to ceiling glazing, all design elements were considered from the interior and exterior of the restaurant
