Hillsboro Library

Hillsboro, Oregon

The location for this new main branch of the Hillsboro Library is a former industrial building, purchased by the City and renovated by LRS Architects. The 38,000 SF building features an adult reading area, children’s and young adults’ sections, a coffee court, public meeting rooms, computers, and a tree canopied information desk.

Expansion into this branch allowed the library’s collection to increase to more than 200,000 books, movies, compact discs, and magazines, and to double its meeting space
